Background Prior to joining SH&E, Mr. Fletcher was an independent consultant working on revenue management and commercial assignments. His most recent work has been helping airlines develop effective new approaches to the changed commercial environment in terms of price, revenue management, distribution, sales and product. He previously held a variety of senior roles at British Airways; most significantly, being responsible for BA’s yield management and revenue forecasting functions, and as an internal consultant, working mostly on cost saving and process re-engineering. Mr. Fletcher also held the position of senior manager for IT systems development and operational research, covering planning, a/c scheduling, flight planning and ops control, airports and crew planning. He has worked extensively on developing systems strategy for operational areas, and OR modelling techniques in Corporate Finance, Treasury, Fleet and Route Planning, Network Optimisation, Resource Allocation and Crew Scheduling. Mr. Fletcher has lectured regularly on pricing and revenue management . |
