Area of Specialization Mr. Henderson specializes in airline restructuring and privatization. He has participated in several recent airline restructuring and privatization efforts in which SH&E has been the lead Technical Advisor. He has recently been engaged in pre-privatization assignments in the South Pacific, South Asia and the Middle East. Based in Washington, DC he is SH&E’s main point of contact with the World Bank and other international financial institutions. Mr. Henderson’s expertise includes strategic planning, business development, sales & marketing and establishing strategic partnerships and alliances to their best advantage.

Background Before joining SH&E, Mr. Henderson was UK Sales and Marketing Manager for Continental Airlines, during which time he was involved in the research, planning and successful introduction of new daily scheduled service between the UK and USA. Previously, he was involved in a joint project between Great Britain and Switzerland to establish a new international airline for the Nigerian Government, and before that, managed the business of Dan-Air in both Amsterdam and Brussels. His career in aviation began at British Caledonian Airways where he gained management experience in all aspects of distribution, sales and marketing before assuming general management responsibility for an overseas operation with both B.CAL and British Airways. Mr. Henderson has lived and worked in Belgium, the Netherlands, Nigeria, and Indonesia, as well as the UK and United States.
