Laurence P. Michaels, SH&E Vice President
Area of Specialization
Mr. Michaels has a background in Operations Research and Information Systems development. He utilizes his expertise in the areas of Scheduling, Pricing, Revenue Management, Demand Forecasting, Aircraft Fleet Planning and Valuation. Mr. Michaels is responsible for SH&E's Aviation Decision Solutions Group providing comprehensive software solutions for key airline commercial decisions, most notably in the areas of scheduling, pricing and revenue management.

Background
Prior to joining SH&E, Mr. Michaels was involved in the surface freight industry and worked on the development of rail capacity/service models used in regulatory proceedings. His published works include being a contributor and co-editor of a report assessing the performance of the National Railway of Columbia, author of "A Competitive Equilibrium in the Rail and Trucking Industries: A Simulation Study", and "More Public Consultation on Airport Plans," which was published in Airport Forum.
