Peter D. White, SH&E Principal

Mr. White specialises in operational safety, aircraft maintenance, ground operations and asset management for airlines, maintenance repair and overhaul companies, lessors and the finance community.  His expertise includes safety oversight, project management, strategic planning, technical operations, commercial negotiating, financial control, and international joint venture development. Mr. White is an experienced airline operations, maintenance organisation and people manager who has well-developed motivating, communicating, multi-cultural team leading and union negotiating skills.

Background
Prior to joining SH&E, Mr. White spent 26 years in airlines.  He worked for British Airways (BA) most recently as the General Manager of China Aircraft Services Ltd, a line maintenance, ground handling and aircraft cleaning joint-venture, in Hong Kong.  He was Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for all aspects of the company set up.  Prior to this, Mr. White was Line Maintenance Manager, Manager Maintenance Control Centre, and Production Planning and Control Manager for BA.  Mr. White began his career with British Caledonian Airways (BCAL) starting as a sponsored undergraduate, becoming a licensed engineer, Powerplant Engineering Manager and Aircraft Maintenance Planning Manager.
