SH&E FEATURED PROJECT
In October 2001, SH&E undertook a major review of the state
of implementation of the Ground Handling Directive 96/97EC through the
EU. The objective of the assignment was to collect factual information
about the provision of ground handling services in each member state,
review the national legislation implementing the Directive, and determine
the views and opinions of stateholders as to the impact of the Directive.
The assignment involved extensive consultation and the collection of data
by both personal interviews and via a structured questionnaire.
