Bondholders Select SH&E for Exclusive Two-Year Re-marketing Effort NEW YORK. January 29, 2004. International air transport consultants SH&E, the world’s oldest and largest aviation consulting firm, has been awarded an exclusive mandate to remarket a maintenance hangar facility at Tampa International Airport, previously occupied by US Airways. The mandate was awarded by a group of U.S.-based investors. “This is a another challenging task for us, but we are confident of finding a tenant that will please both the owners of the facility and the airport,” said SH&E Senior Vice President Clive Medland, head of the firm’s Asset Management practice. “SH&E has remarketed nearly 200 aircraft over the last few years, together with over a hundred engines, millions of dollars worth of spare parts, and airport facilities. This is our second recent appointment to handle a major maintenance facility here in the U.S., and we’re excited.” The Tampa hangar and maintenance facility is available for immediate sale and/or lease. The facility was completed in 1992 and is in excellent condition, with a high-bay hangar of 87,200 square feet, capable of holding one wide-body and two narrow-body aircraft simultaneously. The hangar has adequate height to accommodate aircraft jacking. The facility also has over 45,000 square feet of additional back shops, offices, storage space, and a recently completed composites shop with a clean room. SH&E will be remarketing the facility during an exclusive two-year engagement, using its asset management and industry consulting staff. In addition to Clive Medland, Gary Weissel, Ted Johnson, and John Milsom in New York, as well as Webster O’Brien in Boston, will be active on the engagement. Website and press advertising will launch shortly. Simat, Helliesen and Eichner, Inc.
