SH&E Appoints Ken De Jaeger as a Vice President in its New York Office

NEW YORK--Leading aviation consulting firm SH&E has appointed Ken De Jaeger as a Vice President in the firm’s New York office, where he will take a leading role in the firm’s highly successful Financial and Technical Services Practice. Clive Medland, a Senior Vice President in the practice says, “We’re delighted to have Ken on board and I know that he’ll add his very considerable experience and expertise to the many varied assignments undertaken by our practice including financing transaction support, asset management and appraisal work.”

Mr. De Jaeger has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. As the leader of the Asset Management Group for DaimlerChrysler Capital Services, Mr. De Jaeger provided in-depth equipment analysis and strengthened vendor relations with Raytheon, Dassault, Eurocopter, Bombardier, Embraer, Boeing and Airbus. Previously, when Mr. De Jaeger was with FINOVA Capital Corporation he was involved with transactions from point of strategic project identification, to risk exposure analysis, management of aircraft conversion, to the final negotiations for the sale or lease of the assets. Boeing Capital Corporation, Douglas Aircraft Company, and Northrop Corporation have all benefited from Mr. De Jaeger’s work throughout his career.

Mr. De Jaeger earned his MBA from the University of Southern California, where he specialized in Finance and International Business. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois and he is also an ISTAT-certified Appraiser. ISTAT (International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading) is the leading international body for the certification and on-going education of aircraft appraisers.
