MICHAEL DYMENT JOINS SH&E AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT New York, NY – July 8, 2003. SH&E, a leading international aviation consulting firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael J. Dyment as the firm’s Executive Vice President. Mr. Dyment brings over 23 years of experience in the aviation industry, providing management advisory services to the airline, air cargo, and aerospace sectors. As a leading consultant in the firm’s Aviation Practice, his focus will be on value creation, offering strategy, performance enhancement, enterprise change, process improvement, and financial/economic consulting. Within these assignments, he will work with SH&E clients to design programs having measurable and sustained impact upon their operations. Prior to joining SH&E, Mr. Dyment was an Officer and Vice President of the Transportation and Travel Practice of A.T. Kearney, Inc. Mr. Dyment also served for over five years in the business consulting unit of Arthur Andersen LLP, where he was the managing partner of its global Aviation Industry Practice. In the early 1990’s he was a Principal with Booz Allen & Hamilton, Inc. and led it’s Washington DC based Civil Aviation Practice, a unit of the worldwide technology business. “Michael’s broad experience in the aviation sector will be an asset to our team and our clients globally, and we look forward to his continued success at SH&E,” stated David Treitel, SH&E Chairman and CEO. Mr. Dyment speaks widely on aviation matters, and has been quoted extensively in both the business and aviation trade press including the Wall Street Journal, International Herald Tribune, Financial Times and Los Angeles Times. He contributes to stories in Forbes, Wired Magazine and Business Week, and has been a guest on CNN where he recently offered insights on U.S. airline industry matters. Mr. Dyment holds a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B. Sc. E. from the University of New Brunswick, Canada.
