Background
Dr Christopher Smith is a Vice President of our European firm and
directs our airport practice. Before joining SH&E, he was a Director
of Coopers & Lybrand's and then PricewaterhouseCoopers' air transport
practice from 1986. Prior to entering consultancy he worked on the
strategic development of Birmingham airport, gaining a PhD for this
research. He then worked with Thomson Travel gaining experience of
inclusive tour and charter airline operations.
Dr Smith has presented evidence to several UK Government Inquiries
and Committees, and has given papers to many transport and tourism
conferences.
