Stephanie Toomey, SH&E Director

Ms. Toomey has extensive experience in program management, communications and community relations. In addition to managing outreach for large and controversial projects, she served as director for a state-wide economic impact study that assessed 41 public use airports. She is proficient at developing and managing projects that have multiple audiences and constituencies.

Background
Ms. Toomey joined SH&E in January, 2000, with over 10 years of experience creating and implementing public outreach campaigns for complex high profile companies and governmental agencies. She was previously a partner with Schlesinger & Associates where she specialized in providing clients with counsel in government and community relations, issues management, organizational identity, and internal communications. Ms. Toomey also served as a Vice President of Clarke & Company for over 7 years providing counsel and managing public outreach for several high profile and controversial real estate projects. She also served as legislative director for former Congressman Gerry Studds.
Education
Ms. Toomey holds her BA in economics from Boston College and is certified by the MIT/Harvard School of Public dispute.
