SH&E recently announced the award of several airport related assignments
from organizations in both the US and Europe. The assignments will be
directed out of the firm's Boston and London offices. New clients include
the European Commission, Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), North Carolina
Department of Transportation, San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG),
State of North Dakota Aeronautics Commission, and the Louisiana Airport
Authority.

Specifically, the firm will be conducting the following work for
their new clients:
LAWA: The award is to provide on-call service to LAWA for air service
strategy, planning, and marketing at two of LAWA's commercial airport,
Ontario International and Palmdale.
North Carolina DOT: The assignment is to conduct a comprehensive
evaluation of North Carolina's 15 commercial air service airports.
SANDAG: Teamed with Landrum & Brown, the 14 month assignments
is to develop an Air Transportation Action Program, which will include
as assessment and recommendation for the most optimal airport facility
solution in order to meet the San Diego region's future air travel needs.
North Dakota Aeronautics Commission: The assignment is to conduct
a comprehensive evaluation of the state's eight commercial airports.
Louisiana Airport Authority: Working as part of a URS consulting
team, SH&E will play a key role in the site-specific study for the
proposed Louisiana Transportation Center and International Airport.
In addition to these new assignments, SH&E is currently consulting
airports throughout the world in the areas of marketing, demand forecasting,
privatization, bilateral and regulatory advice, strategic and master planning,
asset valuation, and safety and security evaluations. The airport practice
has performed more than 1000 assignments for airports worldwide.
